As part of these activities LabREI was introduced to the Ibero-American community during the 3rd IBERO-AMERICAN SYMPOSIUM IN INTELLIGENT MICRORREDES WITH RENEWABLE ENERGY INTEGRATION, carried out between October 1 and 3, 2019, Itaipu Technology Park, Foz do Iguaçu-PR
The event was organized by the CYTED MEIHAPER Network, sponsored by the Ibero-American Development Science and Technology Program (CYTED). The CYTED MEIHAPER (Microrredes Eléctricas Inteligentes Híbridas Con Alta Penetración de Energías Renovables) Network is comprised of over 30 research groups from 10 different countries (Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Spain, Mexico, Peru, Portugal and Venezuela) . At the symposium the LabREI was represented by Prof. José Antenor Pomilio and Dr. João I. Y. Ota.
Cyted is the Ibero-American Programme on Science and Technology for Development, created by the governments of Ibero-American countries in order to promote cooperation in science, technology and innovation for the harmonious development of Ibero-American countries.
